In the paintings, selected objects are filled with symbolic content -as in Baroque art. Embedded in dynamic, sensitively shifted compositions, which are determined by a sensitive use of light, they create enigmatic, symbolic arrangements.

With my invented pictorial worlds, I create perspectives on the world that reflect unfamiliar narratives or current events. The timeless refuges with subtle references to civilization follow the longing for seclusion and encourage reflection and self-awareness.
